The Communist Consumers Museum is arranged in the guise of an apartment.

Through armoires, drawers and cabinets you can discover thousands of objects, made in Romania, during the “golden age” … household electronics, decorative objects, vinyl records, toys, games, cleaning supplies, cosmetics, dinnerware, tools, school supplies, musical instruments, bottles, jars, posters, flyers, newspapers, magazines, books, almanachs, postcards, bicycles, tricycles, clothes, sewing supplies, sport equipment and miscellaneous objects… practically everything what romanians of the times had in their houses.

The Communist Consumers Museum is a private endeavour and doesn’t have a political or ideological agenda.

The entrance is free. The museum accepts donations.
