TramTM Tour


Starting with 24.01.2021 the tourist tram TramTM Tur is on the route again. The tram runs every Sunday from 12:00-18:00.

The tours of the tourist tram TramTM is suspended during the restrictions, due to the COVID pandemic, between 8.03.2021-22.03.2021.

Departures are hourly from TramTM Tur station in Libertatii Square, with return to Libertatii Square, without intermediate stations.

The route reviews many tourist attractions of the city, from the city center - the Cetate district, and from the historical districts Iosefin, Elisabetin and Fabric.

The tour lasts about 45 minutes.

The tourist tram belongs to the Timisoara Public Transport Company (STPT).

The tickets are purchased in the tram. (You can pay cash and with the card)

The rates for the tour are:
- Adult ticket - 15 lei;
- Children's ticket between 7 and 14 years - 5 lei;
- Children under 7 years - free of charge

The tourists who want to travel with the Tourist Tram (TramTM Tur) are asked to board the tram to comply with measures to reduce the risk of COVID-19 virus contamination, by respecting social distance, wearing a mask, using the dispenser with disinfectant solution in the tram.
The boarding in the Tourist Tram will be made on the front door and the descent on the back door.
Before leaving on the tour, the Tourist Tram is disinfected with the help of a bactericidal device with UV light as well as with a disinfection solution.

TramTM Tur can also be rented for different events, having a restaurant wagon with audio-video system included. On request the company can also facilitate the services of an authorized tour guide. More details on or at the STPT Public Relations phone number 0040 356 803720.
