Other information

Initially it housed upstairs the Agricultural Stock Exchange, the Lloyd Club, and downstairs a café and businesses. On the 2nd and 3rd floors there were homes.

In 1948 it became the Politechnica Palace, its Rector central office.

In 1927, Josef Geml, who was mayor of Timişoara between June 15, 1914 and September 4, 1919, and from December 3, 1919 a vice mayor, stated that this building “is the most beautiful house in Timişoara.

The entry hallway is very beautiful decorated. Unfortunately, being an institution, there is a door keeper. However just entering a few meters in the building is worth all the effort: you will be able to see the original splendor of a Secession interior.
