The Löffler Palace is situated in the  1 – 1B Victoriei Square.  It was built between 1912 - 1913, in the 1900s style, the szeceszió movement. The architect was Leopold Löffler.

The Löfflers were cereal traders, and one of their sons became an architect.
On the triangular fronton from the north (facing the Opera) one can still see the marks of bullets shot on December 17, 1989.
