Nagele Palace
Situated on 10 Dacilor St., with building authorization from August 23, 1910, and housing authorization from July 18, 1911, the building is known in Timişoara also as
“Kovacs Pharmacy”, because the pharmacist Nägele sold the building to pharmacist Kovacs in 1917.
The building is dominated by the corner area, under the form of a tower, flanked by three high frontons and covered with a conic roof, which is crowned with a vertical element, on which a snake is coiled, representing the symbol of pharmacy. This tower is a successful head perspective of the Dacilor Street looking from Traian Square.
This building also has decorations typical for the last phase, the “geometric” one, the most evolved, of the 1900s style.
