The Palace is also called The Water Palace.

It had initially ground floor and first floor, was later (in 1911) superposed by architect Arthur Tunner.

One can notice the two monumental buildings that set out the entry into the Iosefin (on the right) and Elisabetin (on the left) districts from the bridge: the Timiş-Bega Water Palace and the Franz Marschall Palace.

At the Water Palace, the building composition is dominated by the impressive volume, resolved as a monumental tower dome as the roof’s central bay, a bay having at the ground floor the entrance into the building, oriented towards the bridge.
The building’s architecture meets the 1900s style – the szeceszió eclectic movement – using Neo-Baroque and classical Ionic elements.
